Did 28 laps on the Nordschleife today, even though the track was shutdown five or six times.

The RS is just an amazing machine. It was 28 degrees Celsius and the RS just delivered joy and trust, lap after lap.

It was a pleasure meeting you Jarmo!
What a nice 996 you've got!

28 laps a day is !!

"I went to the Race leader and we spoke about it and in short it ended with me being suspended for the rest of 2017."

first a penalty - than "we spoke about it" - than no penatly but instead a suspension
A lot of heat on this day i see.?

Hopefully you will find a video which helps you to revert this decision!

I would guess that W. Bergmeister is for Willi Bergmeister, Jörg's father.

Some pictures from RCN4, for some reason no pictures of my car - maybe I was too fast - well, not really.

Guess this is what initiated the big crash you see in the next picture... :-(

Weird moments on the Ring:

Same lap, same section:

A deer has been hit

A few hundred meters down the track smoke is coming from outside the Armco.
It is pretty steep on the left side of the track in this section.
I have no clue if the two things are related and don't know what the smoke came from.

Changed front discs at 15700km's to original discs.

Also changed brake pads from Race Brake Technologies RE-10 to Ferodo DS 1.11.

The RE-10's front pads lasted for 7300km's.
The original set was changed at 8400km's but of those 8400km's 3000km's was break in.
The RE-10 basically just done track.

I'm changing to Ferodo because they are easier to find in Europe then RE-10's. Much cheaper too.
Trakcar is also testing Ferodo's so it will be interesting how they take the abuse from him.

I just realized that I have not changed the front tires. They are the ones that came with the car.
16500km's. About 12500km's on track.

I've had some understear moments the last days - wonder if they heat cycled out

I think they look good but I'm no tire expert.

I guess I should drive faster.

The rear tires has been changed at 6000 km's because of cording. They've done about 10000km's now.
