'Miami Blue' is indeed very popular...
Nov 9th on post #1004:
https://rennlist.com/forums/991-gt3-...gt3-rs-67.html
I have sent an email to my contacts at 'Porsche Exclusive'
to explain in detail the option...but have not yet received
an answer.
***********************
Yes the name is great! It's already a big hit in nearby Cuba.
People from there are very interested in seeing 'Miami Blue'
in person & go to great lengths, by any means at their disposal,
to take a peek!
I myself first saw 'Miami Blue' in 1961 and even back then,
I knew it would make a great Porsche 'Special Color' at some
point in the future. It sure beats PTS 'Havana Red Metallic',
with contains sharp-edged flakes which poke through the
paint & are dangerous to the touch. Besides, many find
that 'Havana' has too much of a depressing 'rouge' tint in
it, which dulls the look & prevents this hue from reaching
its full color potential!

Most welcome. I don't think it will delay your order if they accept the change. My delivery is 3/18 and it didn't get pushed back when we added this option but it's good to check. I remember seeing Acid green and yellow. I cant remember the others but I am sure there were more.

Lumber, it seems you and I will have twin cars - I also have ordered the yellow stitching (many months ago at a much higher price, but this new package brought it down) and Viper Green PTS. Very cool. I am excited, to say the least. No build date yet, but likely March or April I am told. I have a ton of CXX options on top of the stitching. Excited to see pics of yours, as well. When is your build (in case you listed it but I missed it)?

That is odd - 26761, door handles are stitched with the CXL option. Assume the base colour is silver or Orange. Would be so easy for them to swap the door pulls for black or stitching colour at the same time.
Instead you have to pay a small ransom for the door pulls in Black - $1500?

I did have to request black door pulls, for $1400
otherwise they would be grey. Kinda silly

Yes, better than late... dealer knew nothing, was supposed to be Feb or March delivery, got an email Thursday saying that the car may be here before Christmas, then another one Friday with pictures.. it had arrived! Went and sat in the car at the weekend.. seems like a long wait until Jan.

Want to see PTS 'mint green' on a 991?
Congratulations Mcx on your 'Miami Blue' RS. It's beautiful.
What was the original PTS color you requested & gave up so
that they allow you to get 'Miami Blue' sooner in your built?

In other PTS news in the UK, check out these two 991 gts
at some dealer in Britain...'Mint Green' & 'Mexico Blue':

Wishing you all a Merry Christmas!

Originally had Mexico blue, have always liked the colour. Posted some pages back when I had a small colour sample of Miami blue, really wasn't sure but at least it won't be dull when unwrapped. Is going for full paint protection film in a few days, and as I'm away over the holidays it will be ready for collection in Jan. Will post more pics when it's back after the ppf.
