anybody know what Pearl Gray (W00) looks like? anybody seen a picture of modern 997/991 generation of cars in that color?

 

We know of one GT3 in W00. The same owner also has a 356 reportedly in the same colour.

Just looking at this again, Eduardo, and noticed another strange development. In another (it would seem more recent) list, W91 was listed with a slightly different name:



Does this suggest to you that W91 is not the historic Porsche version, but rather a VW variety of the same name?



Or would they have been one and the same colour of paint?

 

what about Olive Green (274) -- any pictures of modern 997/991 cars in that color?

 

I have not come across Olive green 274 on a 9x1 car. Presumably at least one exists (hence the approval). But it is a 1970's 928 colour. Not an answer to your question exactly, but maybe these photos will be of some use.

 

thanks.. also, I have Paint-To-Sample list from January 8th, 2016 -- any new colors got added to the list in the past 2 month?

 

I can report that I've asked the factory to test Signal orange 116. So it may appear on any newer/future list as "F" for "feasibility check started." Not sure when a decision will arrive though.

I don't have access to that January 2016 list. Did you notice anything interesting on it btw?

 

Olive green code 274 is approved on the latest list I received at the end of Feb. Signal Orange is not.
