At the port, waiting for the boat. I would assume the other ARM GT3 will be on the ship.

Yup. Brett started the thread on 4/14 and I had my allocation on 5/1.

It survived it. Car about to get here (hopefully) this weekend in one piece!

Yes, the staged photos make it look a bit metallic...and with an accentuated 'yellow' tint. But it's definitely not metallic and I'll shortly find out how much yellow tint it has...since I have the w25 'Signal Green' rear deck lid from my '07 PTS 997S waiting in the garage! Will keep you posted for sure, Reid!

Hopefully, I will be too! But I have to wait until I see the color in person to know!

We really don't have any official knowledge of how many were made for this run. We think at least 10....and most of those do seem to be identified with dealers or customers.

'Signal Green' Confirmed
1) McKenna - CA (Sold at least $20K over MSRP) 9238
2) Beverly Hills - CA (Sold at markup over MSRP) 9244.
3) Stevinson - CO (Sold) 9251
4) P of Beachwood- OH (Sold at MSRP to Rennlister) 9243
5) P of Bellevue - WA (Sold)
6) P of San Diego - CA (Sold at MSRP to Rennlister)
7) P of Rancho Mirage - CA (Sold at markup over MSRP to Rennlister) 9249
8) Momentum Porsche / Houston (Sold)
9) Assigned/Sold to a North Carolina customer that is part owner of a Porsche sales & restoration shop. (Sold at MSRP plus airfreight shipping). I personally think this is an extra PTS 'Signal Green' gt3 in addition to the 10 originally allocated to US dealers in the reward program. Need that confirm since it's only speculation on my part. However, owner is taking delivery in Washington State. Hope we are not double counting the one at Bellevue (#5 above).

Saludos,
Eduardo

I don't quite get it--the ad indicates they're selling it at MSRP. I doubt BHP would do that. The picture also appears to be Fashion Grey, not Signal Green. WTF?? It's just a classified ad not an auction, so they are probably just throwing out bait to get people to call without being obligated to actually sell it for that price. Here's the build sheet:

That VIN # on the current eBay ad (above) corresponds to the 'Signal Green' gt3 that this same dealership had previously listed as their 'future' inventory.

Although the link above no longer works for finding that vehicle in BH's current inventory, I checked on it over one month ago and it clearly stated it was the 'Signal Green' gt3 we knew they had been allocated by PAG/PCNA. It is also the VIN # right behind my own 'Signal Green' gt3! And I used that info at the time to post it here at post #63 at link below:

"But even that is not the last Vin # of the MY2015 gt3s. At least this other one that is coming to P of Beverly Hills has a later Vin #WP0AC2A93FS189244. These two 'Signal Green' gt3s probably went through the production line holding hands!"

The sales manager of this dealership, back in Feb 21st of 2015, emailed me back the following after I inquired about its availability after learning about it here on Rennlist:

Eduardo,

Thank you, very much, for your correspondence, sir. Moreover, I appreciate that you have been loyal to the brand and, for that, I’m very grateful.

The Signal Green GT3 is already spoken for! I believe it was available for (maybe) one/two days before another buyer came into the store….After declining to purchase the Racing Yellow GT3 we had, on the showroom floor, he opined that he would really prefer ‘green’. It was happenstance/coincidence that we should happen to have one available. He quickly agreed to a premium well over MSRP and left us a deposit.

I believe we have one remaining Rhodium Silver GT3 available…

On the supposition that this customer should decide not to purchase it (when it arrives), I would be happy to let you know.

We do not expect that car to hit our dealership until (early) May, I believe.

Chris Marino
General Sales Manager
Beverly Hills Porsche
8425 Wilshire Blvd. Beverly Hills, CA 90211

As to why it now appears in eBay...I have no idea. Perhaps as you suggest it's being used as 'bait' to get customers for other cars. Or the original deposit holder backed out of the deal. Maybe one of you Rennlister should call Mr Marino and ask him about this 'Signal Green' gt3...and report back!

Saludos,
Eduardo

It's just a stock GT silver photo.

Last 4 digit of my VIN is 9261, and its status is not even V300 yet, so I hereby stake a claim for the last MY15 GT3 produced, unless proven otherwise!

Unfortunately, now that MY2016 gt3s have been announced for series production, no one will give two figs what gt3 was last produced in MY2015. And it would not surprise me if other gt3s are running down the line past the PTS ones destined for the US. Porsche is trying to maximize sales on these gt3s due to demand...and who can blame them!
