I love the clock but decided against the SC pack as it didn't seem to offer anywhere close to $1800 worth of benefits. This is strange for me as I normally buy toys with my heart not my head! However, it seems like this might have been a good decision with the negative feedback so far. Almost seems like a con job &/or just a very expensive clock. 😟

That's not good news so far on the track app. Maybe software upgrades will be coming that improve it? Regarding the cost, it's less than a set of tires on this car, so I'm not going to sweat it. And with that reasoning, I should have gotten the colored keys too!

You'd have to think Porsche will make improvements in the program. After I read about it I decided a Smarty Cam might be a better choice. For now I think I picked the right one.

Did some testing with external microphone placement for the car tonight. I think I found a good place. The usual spot I use right behind the license plate:

Anyone notice that the GT3 doesn't burble and pop on the over-run like all the new 991 and 981s do with the sport exhaust? Not a good or bad thing, just an observation. The burble and pop sounds good, but does feel a bit 'artificial'.

Where & how are you mounting it exactly? And how do you route the wire (assuming it isn't a wireless mic)?

It's a wired external mic placed behind the rear license plate and tied to the license plate frame. Routing of the wire depends on where you want to place your camera. In the past I have routed through the cabin and all of the way to the front tow hook camera by wedging the wires into recesses and using some tape.

Took the car into my shop today for an alignment and to check the corner balance.
The car runs -1.4/-1.5 negative camber on all 4 corners from the factory.
Bumped it down to -2.6 camber in the front, which required the addition of shims.
Dialed down to -2.4 camber in the rear, no shims needed (can maybe get -2.6 without shims)
zero toe all around.
We didn't bother with corner balancing this time around since the cross weight was 49.9% from the factory. Nice bonus!
Additionally, since people have been having problems with the radiators still getting punctured with the 2015 mesh, we added some more for insurance:
