There is nothing derogatory about it.......Well played sir! A small village in Sicily at the right time of year sounds like bliss
Non sono italiano ma mi sono sposato con un bellissimo italiano, parlo anche eccellente australiano ma il mio italiano è merda

I think it shows real character to admit on a car forum that you married a beautiful italian man Randy. Im curious though who decides who gets to drive the GT3, do you uhm.. alternate, or is one always the ahem, passenger.? I can see this is one situation where having a back seat would have made sense for both you guys... logistically for positioning I mean...

Ahem, I'm grateful for humorous off-topics, so easy for people on the interwebs to take themselves too seriously, 1-2 examples on this forum come to mind.
Regarding break-in period.. I religiously followed the manual up to 1000 miles previously, below 4K rpm, and it was very hard. I have to imagine with with ED it's hard to keep it down...
But seriously, two thousand miles per the manual feels like ages.. and it would seem like the number of heat cycles for all the parts would matter just as much no?

Maybe not as much fun at flooring the pedal, shifting at redline and listening to the glorious sound, but, hey, it's still a Porsche, still a GT3, and I look forward to driving it like Miz Daisy for the first 1500 (2000?) miles.
Or, I will gladly drive and break in in for anyone. For free. Gently drive, I promise
