This is a continuation of the original thread part two:

I'm really whacked now. Drove 110 miles home from vegas car was fine. Came home from the gym this morning. Well... there you go. So much for my trip to Monterey next Sunday. Even if it does get fixed. I have ZERO confidence in this car now. Most likely they'll probably replace the PDK I'd think. Maybe something in it is causing the valve body to shell and not work. What's next!

Here's a pic of me leaving Vegas happy. Car worked fine on the way home. Gaudin Porsche and my service advisor Paul Molina have been awesome through the whole process. I was so happy I met the two techs that worked on the car and tipped them $100. I'm confident the car is fixed now. Off to the left you can see the new Raiders Stadium.

That's so frustrating, sorry to hear that it's broken a second time. If your confidence in the car is zero, have the dealer/Porsche buy the car back.

I considered that. But then what? Can't get another one with the spec like that. My hunch is there is something defective about the PDK causing the valve body to shell. I'm pretty sure a replacement PDK is the fix and the dealer does as well. Tow truck is on it's way. Thank God - so I don't have to look at this thing in my garage all weekend. Not too happy about if they have to drop the engine and transmission on such a new car. Never the same as first done at the factory. If the car had 6 months or so and a few thousands miles. I'd probably be okay. Had it less than 24 hours and it broke. Got it fixed and had it less than 24 hours and it broke again. I'm sure it will get sorted. It's not the dealers fault. They sent the codes to Germany and Porsche told them what to do. I will be lobbying Porsche for a couple more years additional warranty on this car. I will be driving my 2019 Huracan to Monterey. Has almost 4k miles and has been perfect. I have the Lamborghini factory race exhaust on it and it's just plain nuts.

Dropping the drivetrain on a 911 is totally nothing to worry about. It’s made to be done easily and without damaging anything. I know it’s annoying, but that should not be a concern.
Good time to have them install an aftermarket exhaust, if you’re inclined...

You have a good attitude about the situation. Good things will happen for you. It’s all attitude and perspective. Be safe.

That sucks but it will get sorted. One of the things I love about Porsche is 99% of the time they go above and beyond on warranty repair. Really stand behind their products. In a couple of months this will be far in the rearview mirror and you'll be loving the RS.

Really sorry to hear but I like your attitude. It will get sorted and hopefully you will be driving soon.

Have them buy it back, it's unacceptable you should have to put up with this on a new car... you'll find a build you like.
You don't need this car history hanging over its head... my .02$

Have them give you a 911 Turbo or used GT3 loaner and take that to Monterrey.

At this point. I've ordered thousands of dollars in parts from Suncoast, tools from Precision, miscellaneous other things and paid to have the car transported. Tipped the driver $300, tipped the tow truck driver and will do so again today. Time/expense (220 mile round trip) going down to pick up the car and everything else. I'd never see the light of day on my expenses/time and trouble. Best thing is to get it fixed. I'm sure a new PDK will solve it. Accordingly, I'll push to get an additional two years of warranty. Here I was going to go to Zion National Park today in the RS. Instead, I'm sitting here waiting for a tow all day. At least if I get this thing out of my garage today. I won't have to look at it. That will certainly help. I'll go to Zion National Park tomorrow in my Lambo.
