Default Does your GT3 smoke everytine you start it?

I've had several GT3s in the past (996 and 997) and all would occasionally bellow white smoke on start up. But my new 992 GT3, about 10 days old, smokes damned near every time I start it. I can only recall one time when it didn't smoke.

Before I call the dealer and start down that path, I'm curious, had anyone else have this issue?

PS - The oil level is within the normal range.

Not every time, but occasionally.

Brand new yes. Big white plume. I'm near end of break in and smoke is going away or gone.

Moe having had a number of GT3s in his shop was the one to ask. I asked, he said they all smoke.

It's normal.

Quite a few threads regarding this issue. The consensus seems to be that it's normal...

Occasional smoke. Everyone assumes to be oil. I haven't noticed an odor. Could be condensation.

Yes, it's normal spoke to head tech last week when I was in for another issues. He said oil settles in the cylinder and just burns off. Typical when the car sits, and it will go away over time so no issues.

I want more spoke like the early days, is there a mod to increase white smoke on start up?

Picked mine up on a rainy day. 10 minutes into drive home I stopped at a light and white smoke started literally pouring from the front--with some kind of non-gas or oil smell. I freaked!! Drove back to the dealer-several explanations. Hasn't done it since

Tons of smoke out the front on the inaugural drive home from stealer. Lots of smoke on start up thereafter.

Why sweat it? We all have tons of warranty.

My dog walker almost called the fire department when she saw all the smoke in the garage the other day...but I'm only at 500ish miles.
