Here are some nice pics of a triple black Spyder at my dealers showroom.

Looks awesome.
Why is the 981 Spyder not flying off the dealer showroom floors. Just doesn't make sense to me. MT Boxster with 3.8L NA engine amazing looks.
Did Porsche not take the Spyder as far as they could from a minimalist weight loss philosophy and its to close to a GTS?

Nice looking car, not my taste though. Brings back all the bad memories of trying to keep my last (and only!) black car clean
It's not convertible season, that's why they're not selling. Porsche planned the release horribly, as most are being delivered in the late fall / early winter.

Tough choice. I don't know if red would be that more attention grabbing that a triple blacked out one. Both would catch my eye.

Best looking Spyder I've seen so far. Just perfect. The black knocks down, visually, some of what I think is over extension of the front bumper and the rear diffuser and blends them in better. And this is the first color that I think really makes the speed humps and the rear of the car really flow well. I think partly because the Spyder plate on the upper side just aft of the driver seat just blends in.
If this car were local, I would be on my way to the dealer to trade in my CS for it. And if you want an easy way to keep black nice, OptiCoat Pro the paint and use Armor All wheel protectant on the wheels. My black CS stays just as clean as my Silver or White cars.
I'm not into naming cars, but this would have to be called the Murderous Spyder.
