I held off buying a CS because I felt it was too similar to my Boxster S and not as "hardcore" as I was hoping (although having ridden in one on the track with a very good driver I was very impressed).

Let's hope this one is a little more driver focused.

get one with zero option and put jrz/moton/leda on it, replace all bushing with heim joints. it's about as focues as you gonna get short of a cup car. debating on the heim joints now.

No more HP? Then so what?

Rip of your bonnet and hatch, add some CF pieces, take out your A/C and Radio and you too have a RS

Would be really nice to get a dry-sump motor (like the original 360hp GT3 motor or similar)...

Count me in for a Cayman with a GT3 motor I'd sell my Cayman S and 993 Turbo for that car

Of course no more power. The are going to make the car that is almost as fast as a base Carrera with the Carreras price. If you really want the power, just contact Ruf for a 3.8l x51 swap.

it's not just GT3 motor cost. but to fit the th ing into cayman, you need new gear box and new wiring harness. at that point, you might as well wait a few years and buy CGT for not much more.

So we could be dealing with a stripped version of the 3.4 car, manual seats, less sound deadening, maybe an engine tweek to help. Any other realistic ideas for what we could see and where it will be priced?
