The latter ![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
I have an Elise which I'm upgrading to the Exige S. Once the Exige S is here, I'd have too many similar mid-engined cars! Plus, I find myself driving the Turbo more than the Cayman S.

Actually, if I have to put it back to stock to sell it, the GT3 seats will go back in the Turbo

I've decide to keep the Elise and upgrade the power for much less money than upgrading to an Exige S.
Sooooo, I get to keep the Cayman S![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
It is no longer for sale.

well, since you are adding power to elise, it's only fair you add RUF SC or 3.8L X51 to the yellow car. i need more inspiration.

Curious about the extra power on the Elise as I'm also thinking a trade-in upgrade to Exige S and then convert it with a few $ to street legal Exige Cup Car performance.
I love driving the Elise the most at the track but every time I go out in the 997S and plainly shatter my best lap times makes want more POOOOWER!!!
On the other hand that also makes me think about how deadly will a Farnbacher 3.8 X51 Cayman be! Scary and expensive thought!

Mooty - You do the 3.8L conversion, I'll do the Elise power upgrade ![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
cgomez - If you like turbos on a track car, then ForcedFed.com have some nice options. 275HP is available for around $10K. There is only one supercharger option right now, from Tri-Point Engineering. Under $10K and similar power output. There is a rumor that the Swiss Bemani SC kit will be available in the US soon. under $15K and 260HP. There is at least one company that will be offer a naturally aspirated upgrade, also around 260HP. That is the one I'm interested in as I prefer a naturally aspirated engine for track duty. But, a SC would be okay too.

260HP N/A? Might have to spin that baby all the way to 9.5K! be careful with reliability. Following your own trend, I will let you try it out first!
I also prefer N/A but once you exceed 110HP/liter there's no other way to go than forced induction. I like the Exige S b/c it is a factory package and getting it to 240-250 just requires a bolt in of the Cup parts (pulley and software). Also the Exige taller engine bay helps with the cooling bits (intercooler, ram air, etc...)
