Default airbag programming

looking for a suggestion on a machine that can help with my 987.2 airbags. i swapped to seats for the track and now i have the airbag light on. from what i have read as it sits none of the airbags will deploy currently. hoping someone can point me in a direction for a programmer so i can remove that error and have the rest still enabled.

thanks.

I believe others have used the Foxwell NT530 to disable airbags and seatbelt warnings. I have not done the former, but I have done the latter.

Amazon sells these, so you could buy it, try it, and if it doesn't work then return it... (if it works, then you SHOULD keep it, but I won't say anything)

thanks for the tip.

anyone know if my research is right and the other bags will still function without the factory seats installed using the foxwell?

hmmmm... the foxwell site for the 530 contradicts itself:

so which is it? anyone know?

The thread below seems to suggest that you can code with an NT530 still. I have one delivering tomorrow and plan on using it this weekend. I'll let you know how it goes.

I did the same seat swap and was able to turn off the lights and alarms with PIWIS. Another user posted they had an accident and the bags definitely still deployed. You're turning off the warning/alarm specific to the seat airbags, not turning off airbag functionality.

I got the NT530 from Amazon with the Porsche software installed. It can code. I was able to code the doors to lock once driving and get my airbag disable switch coded.

I didn’t try any of them but below are the airbag related options I see.
