Default 987.2 Custom Carpets by Car Bone

Want to give a shout-out to the folks at Car Bone -- https://car-bone.pl. They focus primarily on the 911 series and I admire the work they do. I found them when I was doing research on customizing my 993 (now sold) a couple years past. I love the classic Pepita pattern and thought the color pattern and contrast would work nicely in my 2011 Boxster Spyder. So on a whim, I contacted them about doing a set of floor mats and they said YES! The transaction went smoothly and in a few weeks I had my carpets. Just beautiful!

Bartek, the Sale Director was great to work with and I am thinking about some other custom work to do with them in the future.

Highly recommended!

Current carpet behind the seats

Maybe?

Those look great! I’m not sure if putting it behind the seats will be a bit much, really hard to say. The alternative would be to get the factory black carpet for the lower part behind the seats.

I had equally good luck with coco mats from https://www.cocomats.com/ - I was looking to lighten up the blue holes of the footwells:

Drivers side - BEFORE

Drivers side - AFTER

Passengers side - AFTER

Looks even better now after putting in the white painted console.

Next maybe get the scuffed up door-sills painted white..

@Marine Blue Agree, I am on the fence on a full Pepita on the back side. Some other ideas I had:

1. Black Alcantara (match the steering wheel), keep the red carpet
2. Black Alcantara (match the steering wheel), Carrera Red leather for the lower have with a stitching pattern to mimic the dashboard
3. Full Carrera Red Leather with a stitching pattern to mimic the dashboard
4. Carrera Red Leather on the top half (link the right and left sides of the car and the Pepita carpet on the lower half

Thoughts and suggestions are appreciated!

They were 255 EUR total = 200 for the two mats, 15 for the heel pad, 40 for shipping.

Bartek at CarBone is the Man. He worked with me to produce a one off set of Carbone Fiber sill plates for my project.

They look awesome with your seats! Yes, the service is amazing. Will do more business with them in the future.
