For track wheels on my 968, I must say my favorite by far was a set of Fikse Mach V 3-piece with black anodized finished centers, lips, and barrels. Only needed a little soft brushing with Simple Green and a spray from the hose to get all the brake dust off. They were amazing until somebody tried "detailing" them with some kinda cleaner. Left soap/water etchings on them. Sad.

Anyway, for low maintenance, they were the $h1t.

Considering a new set....VS Forged VS02's...because I'm not into the black wheel look (what came on our 981).

These are the cheapest, nicest looking TRUE forged wheel (not rotary or "flow" formed) I can find for the money (considering design, fit and tinted/cleared brushed finishes). They're also very light. $2500 delivered for a set is pretty crazy good.

Anyone have any input/experience on them?

My opinion on looks only. They are good looking, and the wide space between every other spoke is great because it allows you to get a hand in the "barrel" to clean it. But the added detail on the spokes makes it much harder to clean every one of them. My optionable 20s in 'Almost Matt' are just about perfect, and go weeks without cleaning. They allow me to have a life.

I agree and partially why I an considering this design. They would be 10x easier to clean than the current wheels I have on there. I can't even get my hand in to clean the barrels.

I'm a bit obsessed about keeping wheels clean. I clean wheels on my 911tt and Boxster every week. It takes very little time on each car - 15 minutes or so - but I've learned that if I don't clean them regularly, crap builds up and hardens...and becomes a lot harder to impossible to clean off. Cleaning every week, my wheels (years later) still look new.

I only go weeks without cleaning on my 4Runner. The Porsche's stay fairly spotless.

Nice Alex...how does the car ride on 20's with X73?

I'd like to run similar wide tires on the wife's 981 Boxster S but in 19's. Did you have to do anything to make them fit?

I'm wondering if those offsets would also work on 19" wheels on a Boxster S...without X73 suspension.

Cool, the two mesh designs for the win! Or a 5 spoke, not 6 spoke (and not in white).

Also, what app is that?

the app is a must have and they have a free version...

It's so cool, you can take a nice profile picture of your own car and put over a hundred preloaded wheels on it and customize the size and can even take a picture of a wheel you like off the internet and add it to the collection ... or you can do like I just did and take any picture off the internet of any car you want and start throwing wheels on it.

its called "wheels on"

warning -it is addictive and might not be healthy for your wallet.

Ha ha...I already admit to a life long and unhealthy addiction to wheels. I'm on my 5th set for my 911tt. Looking to get a new set for my "Wife's Boxster S". This app will likely help that process. I thank you, from the bottom of my wallet.
