Nice that you can get the X73 suspension at no cost in lieu of PASM.

And I really like the look of the 981 Cayman.

With sport buckets and manual transmission it would be tempting. But pushing $100k very hard with very few options, tax, and license? No thank you.

So it's pretty much what I expected, popular options combined into a package with more horsepower at an attractive price.

I wonder if Porsche will come out with a lightweight version of the 981.2 towards the end of the life cycle. It would have to have carbon fiber body panels to make up the weight loss since the current car already has aluminum hood/doors. Should be interesting to see how far they go.

Me likey!
It does seem to save some bucks with many of the right options standard. I spec'd one on the configurator with a few options such as special color (Carmine red) 18 way seats, CDR plus, Bose, rear parking sensors and "only" got up to $83,215. With a standard color you could knock $2,580 off that.

Seat belts look great! Interior in general is stunning, definitely a very attractive package. Do they match the stitching color with the exterior? For example, on a brown car would they use silver stitching?

Carmine Red Metallic...

In my photos you are looking at the optional GTS package interior - leather, alcantara, deviating stitching, etc. Comes in two shades of deviating stitching - Carmine Red & Rhodium Silver. I would guess that the seat belts on the Rhodium Silver stitched interior is Black & Silver, similar the the very special 'Black and Carmine' seat belt on the Cayman in the photos! You choose one of those two GTS special interiors or the standard interiors on the regular 981's.

Zeus, do you want me to send my 7 year old nephew to come to your house and show you how to use the configurator?

I think like the Panamera and Cayenne GTS models they offer the black/red and black/silver colors for the alcantara GTS packages. Doubt they will do exclusive stitching to match but never know!
