Sapphire Blue Metallic

Three Wheelin'
Agreed. I love Aqua as a color.
It looks great on the open cars. It was just a little to inconsistent (from panel to panel, and car to car) on the closed cars I've seen it on (RS and CaymanR) for me to order it on my CR - and I was looking for a blue. The open cars don't have as large an expanse of color, so I'm not sure if it wasn't a problem on them or just wasn't as noticeable - or just the way it looked to me.
Sapphire looks like it could be a nice color.
Eduardo, how does Sapphire compare to the 50th Anniversary PCA 911 color?

Sapphire vs other 'Blues'!
First attached photo is of PCNA's press release re: the MY2006 PCA edition 997 - one of fifty produced and allocated to members via a special lottery. Second photo is one I took of the PCA 50th Anniversary edition 911 that attended the '12 PCA Parade in Salt Lake City last year! Third photo is of the 'Sapphire Blue Metallic' gt3. Fourth photo of an earlier Porsche 'Minerva Blue'.
Saludos,
Eduardo
PS. M3 fans might also remember an 'Estoril Blue Metallic' BMW offered in MY1997 which reminds me of this color. It was lighter than my MY1995.2 'Avus Blue Metallic' M3, one of my favorite cars from years past!
