K, lemme guess... An extra $4000?
I tried to have the carbon inserts with the Spyder red interior.. Pretty standard substitution.. Nooo... Porsche wanted $3000 for the privilege... I decided against the custom stuff

Whoa, I don't think I could have pulled the trigger at $3k to 4k. The pulls were $1300 (crazy expensive) and, I believe, the mirror lowers were part of the PTS.

I finally found a Spyder allocation :)
So, I'm from the Middle East, and finally got my hands on a Spyder
Dealer tells me the car is meant to be delivered to them in October.
Mind you, this is a car that was configurated by the dealer. I asked them to check with Porsche Germany if it's possible to Add or change some options.
Please find build attachment.....
Want to Add,
1- door handles in stitching color RED
2- full bucket seats
Want to remove,
1- the colored porsche crest wheel caps
2- roll over bar in exterior color paint finish
So, we are in early August now, car should be at dealer some time October. do you think Porsche will allow for these changes last minute?
Please would love to hear your comments and feedback.....

I would say we have 6 months a year where the weather is just great for a top down ride. They remaining 6 months, you can't even open the window from the heat and humidity

Greetings all, first foray into Porsche with the new Spyder. Unfortunately I just got on the list so I am 6th waiting for an allocation at my dealer. They are estimating middle of next year so long wait...
With that said, I have had many performance cars of various spec, and I have never been as excited as I am with this one!
Looking forward to getting to know the community in the mean time.

The wheel caps are easy and relatively inexpensive to swap with the back crested ones. Rollbar can probably be repainted or wrapped - possibly even replaced with non-painted parts.
