Steering on the R is fantastic. I have a 996 GT3 as well, of course two different animals, but the R is just so darn linear. I guess it's part of the car balance and HP equation not just he steering parts and such. With the GT3 the steering wheel just always feels somewhat secondary to the throttle input and where you are balancing the weight at any given moment. Not sure if that describes it exactly.

Burning Brakes
I am not 100% sure, but i think the guy who ordered it checked every box. He then proceeded to back out so Hennessy was stuck with it.
I do know PDK W/Chrono

Lot's of carbon fiber.
I think the only option missing is ceramic brakes.
We are going for a drive this weekend, so I will get better information.
