Have you driven a Cayman GTS with the X73? If not, drive one and then compare it with the R.

+1. I couldn't tell the steering was electric. Not in my hands.

Steering on the R is fantastic. I have a 996 GT3 as well, of course two different animals, but the R is just so darn linear. I guess it's part of the car balance and HP equation not just he steering parts and such. With the GT3 the steering wheel just always feels somewhat secondary to the throttle input and where you are balancing the weight at any given moment. Not sure if that describes it exactly.

The rear engine cars have an inherent front end lightness feel which makes a difference on how direct the steering feels. When I owned my 996 GT3 at the same time as another mid-engine car, this was very obvious. Drive them back to back and you'll see what I mean.

I am not 100% sure, but i think the guy who ordered it checked every box. He then proceeded to back out so Hennessy was stuck with it.
I do know PDK W/Chrono
Sport Exhaust
Full Leather/ Alcantara
Lot's of carbon fiber.
I think the only option missing is ceramic brakes.

We are going for a drive this weekend, so I will get better information.
