Just got her back from x73 installation and alingment. Tomorrow, I'll be doing new rotors and pads. Can't wait to test it out this coming weekend!

Greased the glovebox latch assembly. That did away with the jiggly handle on the glovebox.

I switched out the silver dash trim for OEM leather. Quite pleased. Should banish the reflections to a large degree.

I did a 2 x 2.5 hour sprint down the Columbia Valley Gorge into the belly of the smoke beast.

Even with air recycling on and new cabin air filters, I was still breathing smoke in the car. I drove air filters, a freestanding HEPA air purifier and goodies to wife's son to protect baby lungs under Air Quality of 460.

My new plugs, coils and stereo worked great. It was nice having Waze up, proper integrated bluetooth phone and streaming music instead of the old CDR24.

Keeping the above picture for comparison purposes - today I installed the OEM (GT4/Cayman T) short shifter. I was doing it around work - nipping back and forth to the car and it took a couple of hours of elapsed time, but much less of actual time. I'm very happy - like the look and the feel. Zero more effort or notchiness IMO, just shorter and more direct.

Still loving the leather trim, though it's very fragile. Also, I've since resolved the twisted boot above - took 5 mins.

C.
