Took it to the Glen and drove it like we stole it.

Brought the 964 aka Sh!tBox as well. My son has gotten very fast in them both.

In need of a good bath.

So you're just the guy I need to talk to. How hard is it to remove the bumper? I've got screens to install and have mixed feelings about tackling the project.

Easy job I think, it's just a ton of screws, mostly from the wheel liners and underbody. You can follow this video guide below and it's identical to the 981 bumper. The only minor difference is the wheel liners on the 981 are 1 single piece that goes all the way to the lower front of the bumper. Everything else like the front lamp connectors, washer fluid hose, and the funky metal clips the hold the top are identical. Thankfully Porsche designed the bumpers to easily come off and back on without worrying about realigning body panels and breaking nonsensical clips.

Thank you so much. I'm going to watch the video and check my courage level. Thanks again!

All in all not too terrible and I'm very happy with the results.
I'm considering this unit, but am wondering if it has an OSD that can take advantage of the factory parking sensors like the stock screen. Not terribly interested in installing a backup camera, but it might be necessary if I'll lose that visual.

I have the CHSTEK unit, and my factory backup sensors still work. I can hear the beep and see the sensor image on the screen.

Wonderful, thanks for the insight. I am tempted to get the install done now, but only a couple of months left before winter storage. The summer has flown by.

Installed the Kaizen cupholder … it doesn’t really actually fit anything useful (my standard 0.5l Nalgene or my fellow travel coffee mug) but I think a standard 20oz water bottle will fit

Fixed the sagging headliner. $450 at a local custom upholstery shop.

From the dealership damage for when it was in for service, took the PPF off in hopes that just that was damaged. No luck, as while it may have kept the paint from scratching, the scratch is embedded in the plastic.

Dealership took ownership of it (though, wish they would have told me about it...opposed to me telling them). Now the car sits in the driveway, waiting for them to pick it up and repair. Always question what will be damaged when it returns this time.

Walked out to this damage. No note…

Harbor freight to the rescue!

Thankfully it all came out. If you look very closely there are some horizontal indentations in the plastic bumper but none of the scratches went all the way through the paint.
