Default WANTED: Boxster Spyder

So I have been criticized for selling both of my Spyder's, owning a TT RS and a few other thing too. I'm first to admit I have automobile ADHD. After the initial rush wore off I have decided that the 981 isn't for me. Of all the cars I have owned the Spyder is the one I personally miss the most. With that, I won't just buy any Spyder available. If anyone is considering selling there Spyder, let me know. I do however have requirements:

-Full Leather
-Sport Buckets
-Manual
-Spyder wheels (Any color will do).
-Xenons
-Below 10k miles

The above is a must! Mileage is the only one I would fudge on.

If you have the above and are willing to give up your baby let me know.

I'm speechless.....

You got tired of the 981 before you took delivery. That is truly impressive. LOL

Does this mean the spyder registry is resurrected?

Fortunately for me, mine won't work for him (no xenons)!

Then again my asking price would be bordering on ludicrous.

Good luck with the search.

Do you think you'll hang on to it a bit longer this time?

I might offer a suggestion for you to help with the automobile ADHD because I get the thought in my head to change cars frequently also. Find the car you love and hang on to it. Then buy a second car which costs much less and swap out more frequently. The depreciation hit alone will be enough to cover the cost replacing the lower priced cars. There are lots of cool and fun cars available for less than $30K.

Curious, how much would you pay for a car that exactly fits that bill?

Afshin,
Thanks for the advice. I hope to keep this one for a while.

Depends of the options and mileage. Put it this way, if it's the right Spyder, I'll pay more than current market prices.

Cayman - Welcome back!

Following up on what others have already suggested to you, we would really appreciate if you could put back up your 'Spyda' website. There were many Spyder owners in the US and abroad that contributed stories & photographs of their cars to your website. I think it deserves to be seen by the general public and open for further contributions by the increasing number of enthusiasts that are discovering the special nature of this unique model! I know Steve (JSF 101) has contacted you via email & pm on this subject and I hope you are responsive to our request! Thank you in advance for your cooperation.

Hope you find the perfect Spyder!

Saludos,
Eduardo

One step ahead of you... Last night I reactivated my domain. I'll be reloading the site today after work. It currently resides on my external HD.

I'll keep you posted.

It's ok... sounds great, but is kind of numb compared to the Spyder. I miss the rawness involvement the Spyder provides.

It's unclear whether or not you can be forgiven for ditching a PTS spyder for a TTRS.

History (ie forum members) will decide.... Lol
