Its close to me, rare beautiful color and a great price, so I was just about to phone the seller with the intent to buy it when I noticed the last line saying it has a rusty body.. Bugger, bugger..

I would so much love to own this car in good condition.. Oh well..

Odd coincidence. I was cleaning old photos from my computer last night and found these. Was gonna ask if they were yours or…..?

Can't find the second one. I think it was a driveway pic.

Just noticed, isn't the Euro pic with a 944 wheel on the car? and is my pic Euro too? Looks like a clear side marker. Maybe someone was in my stash?

Not sure how rare the car is in europe, but it may be worth saving?

Price does seem a little high. Rust seems to be on the drivers side, under thresh hold and by the rear bumper. Not very good pictures.

Says they will put the car on the lift for you.

Definitely a couple of them in Europe. Notice the one above has side moldings. And I have seen one with a marine blue interior.

Funny to hear about rust. I have never seen a rusted example. I'm told that Porsche perfected the galvanization process and used it on the 944/968s. Now, if the car had repair work that is a different story.

Here is a thread with more info about them:

https://rennlist.com/forums/968-foru...ival-rate.html

The nicer of the coupes (has sport seats, black interior) surfaced a year or so ago on Craigslist, way under priced at $13k and sold in an hour. It is now in a private collection at Top Gear motors in NJ. The other coupe (has cashmere interior) is still with the long time owner in NC.

Yes the one in N.C. is the one i was considering years ago, If i Remember correctly he owned an Independent Shop specializing in German Autos. At the time he advertised it needing TB/WP service , which he would include with the sale of the car. In the other post refrencing sunroof strength opposed to non sunroof strength, I see that one is sporting Club Sport Forged wheels. I am assuming thats the one still in N.C.?

A 968 cab is not in itself rare, but the color is indeed.. And I really have a soft spot for 968's in the more vibrant colors as they just seem to suit the car so well.. And they don't come much more vibrant than the mint green color..

A mint green, with a speed yellow and riviera blue might be the perfect combo. Hopefully we can get a photo op one of these yrs.
