1) What happens to the ends of this beading for front bumper cover? Is it supposed to wrap around or do you cut it at the ends?
2) In the bag came this piece of metal that inserts perfectly in the beading and its very flexible, I assume it goes on an end or something and you can bend it to fit around something?

Thanks
If it is the same as the rear bumper you insert it fully into the tubing and bend it under the the end of the bumper to secure the tubing/piping on the end, acts as a c clip of sorts. So hold the tube with the metal on top of the lip and on the left side press the tubing with the rod and wrap it back on itself but now under the lip of the bumper mounting sill end point.

I just went through the Workshop manual and the service manual. Neither one mentions much about the piping. The workshop manual says replace if required, but does not even have a picture of the metal retainer rod.

Service manual mentions nothing about piping. Can only say look at another car? I will take a look at my car, but I know my bumper has been pulled and resprayed before, so who knows that they did

Yea I guess I could look at my old piping and see if it has rods in it as well. Thanks Touareg.

As toureg stated, stick the rods in and turn them into form a clamp. If you notice, the piping is longer by the wheel wells for this very reason.

On my center console right in front of gearshift I have 4 switches, mirror, sunroof, door lock, rear wiper. Only the door lock switch lights up at night is that normal?

Has anyone replaced the interior overhead light, front and rear trunk lights and license plate lights with LED??
