Just took it for a spin. This car is no slouch, plenty fast for street. I was worried, coming out of a 575 horse 997 turbo, that it would be too slow. Shocks seem a bit soft and I think it needs an alignment but I am impressed so far!! I think I got myself a nice car, my wife was shocked when she saw it, she thought it was new.

944/968 cars are pretty softly sprung from the factory, even the M030 ones, but good/new shocks do make a huge difference in ride feel.

Yes they are 16's, will start looking for some original 17 cup 1's asap.
Don't forget the 17s had an unusual width for the front, that was not on the 911s. So harder to find, and since they were wider, 911 folks wanted them.
