Default Urgent help needed clutch slave

So in classic Porsche fashion.. I get home from vacation to find my 968 clutch slave decided to finally die randomly. I start a new job tomorrow. The slave cylinder bore looks good after a quick honing. But this seal has a flat spot on it. And I know that's the leak point, has anyone ever found a real part number for a cheesy aftermarket rebuild kit? Or better yet anyone have a clutch slave kicking around I could buy? Any real differences between a 944 slave and a 968 slave? As always you guys rock and are invaluable resource, thanks in advance

if you have original parts, I would just do both master and slave along with the flex and blue line.

I saved my old slave but it might poop out as its 23 years old. if you pressure bleed with the old supply line, cover it with something.

I think the slave is interchangeable. Just put in from any model from now. It might even be the star part.

See everything I've read leads me to believe the only difference is the bleeder location. I'm gonna go to my flaps and find a 944 rebuild kit now that the wife is back from work.

So far it looks sorta promising. A dude at a local Napa says he thinks he can get a rebuild kit for this slave. Anyone in the Phoenix area have a used known working slave?

Give Larry a call at 20th Street Auto. He has several broken 968s there. Located in Phoneix.

Thanks 9146guy! You rock, the 968 is up and happily driving again. Now with a new clutch slave the de-clutching action is so firm and positive. You can actually feel getting past the fulcrum point of the pressure plate! I think my last one has been slowly leaking forever and it finally gave out.
