Default 968 at Mecum Kissimmee in Jan

There will be another 968 up for Auction at the Mecum auction in Kissimmee.

It is a rare one. 1 of 10 G7 Coral Red 968 cabs. 1 of 4 when you factor in the interior. It looks pretty clean. It is a tiptronic which will hurt the value somewhat.

We'll see how it does.

Either that top has been replaced or it has been extremely well kept.

It may have had some work. It is supposed to have script seats. I can't tell if they are still there.

Looking carefully at the one photo of the interior, I'm almost certain I can see the angled "script" on the passenger seat bottom center.
The cloth centers also look to be a different "tone" or color compared to the bolsters too.
I would love to see something like this come up for sale at a local auction.

The color (Coral Red) looks a lot like the old Velvet Red color on my 944S2, and also a bit like the current Ruby Red on a Boxster I have.

It is a great color. More orange in person IMHO. It is a metallic.

Went for $12K plus 10% buyer premium total purchase price $13.2K seemed about right for a Tip.

Thanks Rich.

Did you see the car in person? If so, how did it look?

Did see car in person before clean up for auction day it rained real hard Friday morning and a lot of the cars were a mess. It looked generally clean top look newer, had script seats. I thought it would go for more based on some of the Boxster sales prices I saw. With 3000 cars for sale at Kissimmee it was interesting to see where folks there put values.
