How common are these? Anyone on here have one?

I got it and would be more than glad to share any info gleaned from it for your registry! I thought I read somewhere they were only sent to people who were invited to purchase the cars, since the Turbo S was made only to appease racing rules? Back of the knapkin math, 1.75 DM was worth 1 dollars back then, so a 20,000 DM deposit for the car would be $11,500 US in 1993, so nearly $19k today! List price was 87k US in 1993, so $143k, not too shabby

Still feel I paid too much, but I thought it was kinda rare!

And they only produced 14 of them! (11 93s, 3 94s)

I thought the DM/Dollar conversion translated to about $104 k back then (but i'm far from sure).

I have that same package but mine came with a letter from Dr. Porsche's desk. The letter was written to a few "select" customers prior to actual release date.

Please please please post that here. You can have the original, but let us see what is in that!

Our replica car dreams are benefitted by the authenticity this can help generate in our aspirations.

Will do, that was my intention, to share with the group any extra info that might not be out there.

Will also put out a 968 CS brochure, but I assume those are more common.

Great piece and I don't think you paid too much at all. The seller on the other hand, I'm not sure if "rare" brochures are a much better investment than the actual cars. 22 years holding onto it to sell it for $52?

Easier to store. I'm still waiting for my 85 Dodge Aries K brochure to go through the roof!

I started a new thread, for both the Turbo S and the 968 CS brochure I got, ogle all you will.

I wonder if the Jurgen Barth signature is worth anything, too bad he didn't race any 968s.
