Humpty Dumpty....

All back together. Runs great, good brakes, clutch and tranny crazy smooth. No leaks, yet. Great temp and oil pressure.
Everything works except, 1 driving light and,....

* Carpet in back has crystalized.
* Needs rotors / pads.
* Fuel lines look good, but are on the list.
* Some body side molding clips are broken.
* All weather areas have lost the clear coat.
* Odo gear broke on the first test drive.
* A/C blows coldish, but need to find R12 or convert over.
* Shock rubber stops are toast.

I like the way it drives, but the 928 is a beast.

It handles nice and is more responsive, but still feels like a toy compared to the 928.

Now I have to decide if I keep it or the 928, or keep both.

Paint would be about 6K for each Looks like the resale would be better on the 968..I could sell it and get a new motor and paint for the 928...

Decisions.

Thanks to all for the guidance along the way.

As found.

He had good intentions. But never dove in to help. Very sad to not be involved with this. But he concentrated on grades, so cant complain too much 4.3 avg.

latest and greatest.

trying to pass inspection. replaced the speedo gear (checked good) and now the odo is shot. I think I fried the resistor when testing.

running a little rough. will tackle that one item at a time.

next is an AC conversion.
