Default Winter detailing

I bought my car in the spring last year and it was generally speaking in pretty good shape. Mechanically near perfect but it was the PO's DD and it was stored outside for 6 years. Needless to say the paint needed some work. Luckily the interior of the car was dry with no evidence of leakage with the exception the sunroof which I have some rust repair to do in the future (not bad considering the horrible rain in the PNW)

I'll be the first to admit I don't know a lot about car detailing. I got into the Ammo NYC videos online recently and it really motivated me to give it a shot. I didn't have any tools to start with so decided on Meguiers DA Polisher kit from the local auto store. It was affordable and it fits any household drill which doesn't get a lot of use around our house.

The results IMHO are great, I'm very pleased with how it turned out. What makes me most excited is that with the proper tools the results can only get better. For any of those on the fence time to give it a shot!

On a side note when I swapped the sports seats in wow was it disgusting underneath. I recommend anyone as OCD as me to pull them out and clean, clean clean.

Regards,
Thanks Raj! These cars are really unbeatable in stock format so the goal was to improve without taking anything away. Do you have any pics of your car online I'm so in love.

And to the rest of you out there. What are your detailing plans over the winter? Any experienced detailers willing to share any tips and tricks?

If you search my username and "pics", there should be plenty online on rennlist.

As far as detailing, I have always had Steve Z detail my cars even though I bought the complete detailing kit. I guess I need to make time to start detailing.

Going to try and get Ernie to come down and help a transplanted Edmundston-er with the spyder...

Winter? What's that? I live in Florida, I am still driving with the top down.
