Going to Drive my First 968 Tomorrow

Agreed. I looked at several relatively low-mileage cars before I got mine. Mine, though it has more miles than I was originally looking for, was also in better shape than any I'd looked at. Care and upkeep can matter a lot more than mileage.

Totally agree. I saw Brian's Speed Yellow 968 coupe at the Parade in June. Beautiful car and in almost perfect shape. He took first in his show class. And the car has 107K miles on it.

Just got back from a few hour drive in the Alfa....man, this is a nice car...so vintage in feel, but it has a nicely upgraded suspension, great noise, decent power and very short gears. However, the window of driving a convertible is tight, lower than 70F and you are too cold and higher than 84F you are too hot!
Took it out of the garage today to see a gasoline leak from the fuel pump (small squirt), jacked it up, cut 3/4" off the line, put the clamp back on, and I was on my way!
For now I will keep both the Alfa and the future 968....this is a 1973 example.....
