Time Capsule for sale

It did just 2 years ago. It sold at the Porsche Parade in IL in 2010 for $40K. We'll see how it does in 2012.

Great car considering the condition but I am going to go against the conventional wisdom just a bit. I really think that color combo sucks and that is why it is so rare. There, I said it! Now don't beat on me too bad.

Thank you. You couldn't PAY ME to drive that car. Perfect for a Barbie Commercial!
Rarity doesn't always mean good. It just means someone was "different" and decided to spec a car in such color combo. Put a more desirable color and watch it move.

To me, this car is now a time capsule and should be put away and rarely driven as it will hurt its value, a true collector car. IMHO, having a uniquely configured car on top of the super low mileage only helps its colectiblity. I don't think it would be worth nearly as much or be anywhere near as interesting a collectible if it was a red coupe with a black interior. Again, just my opinion but hey, I drive a mint green cab.

From: one thousand, five hundred miles north of Ft. Lauderdale for the summer.
once again, to be clear, the paint is awesome.
but, there's no reason to sugarcoat over bad taste. the grey and puke Pink interior is absolutely horrible..... not easy to comprehend how hideous and galactically stupid that steering wheel is. just becuase the factory did it doesn't make it right....
frankly, the P O R S C H E-to-the-bitter-end, wow-that's-so-awesome factor borders on embarrassing. that whole interior needs to be black. no grey nothing. the steering wheel and shift boot is the first thing that needs to go. replaced in.... black.

every Porsche interior needs to be in black.
you can mothball that garbage....
personally, i wouldn't even go that far. those pieces would be thrown into the nearest dumpster.
(despite that i like the CS cars themselves), you can add the painted wheels and Clubsport logo to the list of 968 garbage.
maybe for a 190 mph ++ car (and that's really pushing it). but all this silliness for a 968 ?

I went and looked at the one that was on ebay two years ago in Redondo Beach, CA. It had ~167k miles. Listing looked great, got over there and the car was beat to hell, reeked of cigarettes. It fetched $6900, probably to some unsuspecting internet buyer somewhere else in the country...

Looking at prices here in Germany this car is a real bargain. Would sell within 3 days here (at least I would buy it).
Sad it is so far away and would cost + 30% to have it here with taxes, import duty, freight etc.
