New Owner Intro Post
Hi,
Just a quick post to introduce myself as the new owner of a 1992 968 cabriolet in coral livery with 71,000 miles. Located in south central PA: still waiting for PennDOT to do their job so I can start enjoying the car. I'm sure I'll need all kinds of help and advice in the coming months and years - so thanks in advance.

Congrats and welcome. That is a great car. Only 10 North American 968 cabs were painted in the "92 only" G7 Coral Red. Of those, only 5 were paired with black interior. Post or PM the last 3 digits of your VIN and I'll give you even more details. BTW, you'll have to join us at the PCA Hershey swap next April. We always get a good number of 968s.

Thanks for the warm welcome!
I've always been a Porsche guy, going back to the late 70's, when I was a fan of the 934, 935, and 936 racing cars, as well as having a fascination for the earlier 917's, and the 904 featured in an issue of Car & Track I received as part of a subscription. I've dreamed of owning a Porsche ever since, and am an ardent student of Porsche history, both road and racing.
The last 3 digits of the VIN of my car are 635, which I think bodes well since it can be arranged to make "356."
Am looking forward to many adventures, of both the driving and mechanical kind.

Sure we know what a 968 look like but always nice to see a new addition to our forum.Three things to start saving your money for by just looking at that single pics.NEEDED 17" cup I wheels-Euro signal ligths & not sure about the interior but a 968 CS steering wheel the best investement & upgrade to our 968,only one draw back with the CS you loose your driver air bag.
