If you plan to keep it and have a soft spot for the color, fix it. If you plan to flip it, it a no win situation. You will be spending too much to recoup your investment.

Evening everyone,

Well I took delivery of the car today and, as suspected it is pretty far gone and IMHO not long for this world. Lots and lots of goodies on the car. Overall I would consider it in average shape for a car showing 142K on the clock.

This will be the first car I have parted out so not sure of the best process to get it done. I have recieved a few PM's which will have first pick, but will start another thread this weekend with some better pics etc. but if there is anything in particular you would like pictures of let me know!

Hey everyone,

Took a quick video of the car today and just uploaded it to youtube. It is still processing but should be ready in a few minutes so you can have a better idea of the overall condition of everything.

Thanks!

Went by and bought some stuff from John today. His prices were fair and he was a pleasure to work with. Thanks John!

That stuff looks great cleaned up Josh! Great meeting you today as well, I am amazed you fit it all into a 968! It's been a busy day and I am just now starting to put together a list of remaining parts for sale (which is pretty much everything you don't see in Josh's pictures!). Will be going back tomorrow to pull more off of it. If ther is anything in the Atlanta area who is interested in coming by to check out whats left just send me a message.

Thanks!

Sorry for the delay in getting back to everyone, been crazy busy. Drivers side fender has a pretty good dent in it and the front near the headlight is not perfect probably due to it's previous small love tap that took out the turn signal. Got a few better pics on my facebook page you can look at. I've put together a quick list of what is available and some pricing which is negotiable, shipping is NOT included. I would prefer local pickup or to meet somewhere in person if you would like the larger items (body panals, engine trans etc.) but will be glad to ship anything you want as long as you pay for it!

Pics - https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?...1&l=8c1e88e2db

Engine - 3 Liter DOHC approx 90K $2,500.00
Transmission 6 speed no LSD approx 90K $1,500.00
Batwing $200.00
Lower Plastic Engine Cover $40.00
Passenger Fog Light $100.00
Passenger Turn Signal $40.00
Drivers Headlight Assembly $250.00
Passenger Headlight Assembly $250.00
Drivers Side Mirror $100.00
Passenger Side Mirror $100.00
Convertible Top w headliner (Replaced March 2009, $2700) $750.00
Front Bumper Cover $400.00
Drivers Side Fender $75.00
Passenger Side Fender $100.00
Hood $250.00
Drivers Side Door w/ window, handle(broken?) - no mirror $350.00
Passenger Side Door w/ window, handle - no mirror $400.00
Passenger Side Taillight Assembly $75.00
Rear Trunk Lid - straight?? $50.00
Spare Wheel $75.00
Instrument Cluster $100.00
Steering Wheel w/Airbag $150.00
ECU w/ Automotion Chip $250.00

Bascially everything is available except the things the Josh picked up this weekend. Feel free to message me with any questions and i'll try and get back to you ASAP.
Thanks!
J

What condition are the batwing and engine belly pan in? Are all of the holes for fasteners without cracks?

The batwing is in very good shape. The three tabs that hold it to the plastic cover are all there but I believe one of the holes is cracked but could easily be fixed with some epoxy which I was planning to do once I get it cleaned up. Engine belly pan is in very good shape as well with no defects I am aware of. I will inspect both items more closely tomorrow and let you know for sure.

Thanks!

Trev,
I had my eye on those back when John was selling them. Guess I'll have to stick with my 7"s.
