ok, FINALLY it arrives! I met the transporter at a shopping center about 5pm today to get my SY 968 cab! Its everything I ever wanted in a 968 cab. It exceeds my expectations in most areas & I have already started a "To-Do" list. This is a pic right after it came off the truck. I'll post some more soon.

First mod-rear keyhole cover-Got mine from Bumperplugs-you have to order two, modify them with a straight razor blade. The other is on Raj's old MO30 speed yellow coupe.

Well I was up till 2am last night on the promise it was coming in the middle of the night too. After they promised it by 6pm yesterday. Not sure I ever want to endure such an ordeal. Would rather go to the car, see it in person, then drive it home!

+1. That is exactly how I felt after enduring damage to my Cayenne S during transport. You should be happy that it showed up in the same condition it was picked up in.

Well, mine arrived covered in dust & the driver's headlight stuck in the up position. 1st thing I had to do was to wash it. Then read up on a stuck light to get it to cooperate. For mine, a light tap on the relay and it cooperated.

My specialty '1Of10' tag came in. Perhaps a bit difficult to read, but not uncommon in cryptic specialty tags here. Correct statement of '1 Of 10', at least regarding the U.S. Speed Yellow Cabs. Even if those not in the know might mis-assume what it means. Would hope it would cause a question from those curious to allow for an explanation of 968s perhaps. Was inspired by a tag I saw of a true '1 Of 1' 1957 GMC truck at a car show in Nov.

I like it!!! Wow, the 968 registry is now impacting LP production!!! Did you consider 4OF10 as well?

Well, after I'd ordered it I thought of that. Perhaps if I could have put the "#" symbol in front of the 1, then the #4Of10 would have been the way to go. My first 5-8 choices were already taken, so I was getting desperate at the tag agency counter in coming up with something.

Well, you have to tell us, what were the first choices?

Thanks Michelle, We went to St. Aug. at Christmas too, go there on a regular basis. Didn't expect it to be quite so crowded, but was still nice.
