Random A-hole tried to kill me and my 968
Driving home from work today, just driving along, when I hear the burn out and screaching tires of a car. I look to my left and see a car tearing out of a parking lot and now is heading right toward me in a red 4door sedan. I lay on the horn and he's still coming at me. I steer away and he still manages to drive right into my driver's side rear wheel and quarter. My head hits the window frame and shoulder hit the window. I start to pull off the road and this A-Hole lays on the gas and takes off and almost hits another car. I call home and tell my wife to hurry and write down his license plate. I hung up and call the police and while waitng the lady he almost hit came back to check on me and give me this A-hole's license plate. It was exactly ther same as what I gave to my wife. When the police show up and I give him this plate number, he says it's registered to a white pick-up with an address that is about 250 miles away in northern michigan,WTF
As I am writing this, just now, the phone rings and it's the Sheriff. He called to inform me that the found the guy sleeping in the Wal-mart parking lot. When they woke him up, it was clear that he is intoxicated and placed under arrest. The car was stolen too.

Current state of repair
Somehow I always get ideas like "as long as it's in the shop let's fix _______ too"
so the paintless dent removal guy will be stopping by for a visit too and a scratch on the hood repair......................
Got a look at the police report. The guy blew a 0.27 and in Michigan 0.08 is legally impaired so only 3 times above the limit. Report indicates that the police received a call from Wal-mat stating they thought there might be a medical emergency as they fought an unresponsive guy in the parking lot. When the police got there they were able to finally wake this drunken moron up and arrest him. So it was lucky they called otherwise they would have never found the guy. Not that it matters as Michigan is a "No Fault" state. I could sue for the deductable but the attorney would cost more than the deductable
