Jeff, I think that 30 weight is too light for Porsches and 0w-40 suggests that it's better for cold starts anyway.

Raj__It's a little thick for up here but I agree on Swepco, the only problem it's a real hassle to get Swepco in Canada.

How much do I need to buy to fill it up (sorry if this is a stupid question). I just remember hearing somewhere that it takes a little more oil then normal cars...

I found somewhere that sells the Mobil oil comes in a package of 6 bottles (1 litre each) for 12.77 a piece.

_____________ Are you sure they are 1ltr bottles, saying this because they usually come in 946mm bottles which can get very confusing. If they are (1ltr) you will need 6.5 ltr.If in 946mm bottles buy a least 8 so that you'll have an extra one.If in 946 mm bottles after your oil change you will have a bottle & a half left.Don't forget to buy the rigth oil drain plug washer which will be 22x27mm.Also you want to get hold of the only oil filter wrench that really work on our car don't get suck into buying another model. To make it easier to remove the oil filter disconnect the coil cable & tuck it aside.Make sure you cover everything that the oil can possibly get on exp steering boot/PS lines/fenders ect ect,use paper towels (not rags) they do a good of absorbing the oil.Btw you need to remove the plastic & aluminum under- trays the bat wing you leave on.Once done start the car & let run for a while,re-check everything for leaks.Pics of oil filter wrench.
