It does not matter if you use a 968 or 951 engine management, the cap top wiring harness is separate.

Not to pick on the turbo conversion that Ernie posted car earlier in the thread but what that builder has done is produced a "hot air" system by placing the air intake directly behind the intercooler. That defeats the purpose of having a intercooler.

Seem like is not the only one that defeats the purpose of having an intrecooler, here is two more conversions (8V &16V) ??????

Regardless of those other cars, that is very poor placement of the intake. Surely you understand the fundamental reason why that placement is flawed.

never done one (a conversion), but I think space may be an issue, no?

I surely do!!!! just wondering why so much of them have chosen this location to install their air intake,instead of doing it like this one.

Or do it this way like Porsche did!!!!! but I guess the problem will be to find such an intake.

I absolutely love the lack of bling in that engine bay. It's just down to business. And very clean!

+1. Even little details, like the intercooler clamps look oem. Amazing!
