The car is far from perfect. It actually spent 1994-2005 in Washington State, though no rust to be seen.
It's got a major scrape on the bottom of the rear bumper (mostly likely from backing into a parking block...), a speckled passenger door from tight parking, and the hood has a handful of raisin-sized chips from rocks, etc.
Paintless dent removal made the car about 1000 times better than it looked before though, it really is a beauty.
Should be starting a little work on the interior soon...but for now, enjoying the drive!

[QUOTE=TheBlau;8230121]Just picked up my first 968 a few weeks ago, 1994 Slate Grey Metallic M030 Coupe with Classic Grey (classically, now at least 4 different shades of grey) interior.
Congrates simply love the color, look in very decent shape.First pic a row same color.Second Turbo rear spoiler belong to a member here but can't remember who.

That last pic above has so many cool things to it, I don't even know where to start. It's one of the coolest 968 pics ever to be found on the internet.

Great buy at 10K defiantely a worthy investment for a pure drivers 968. Love the color, I thought if I purchased it I would install misc. black trim items from a late 944 and black seats and floor mats. Get the top of dash recovered black, top of door panels in black, A-pillar trim in black, steering wheel in black etc...
This would be my 2 cents on improving the different faded shades of grey and purple!
Here is a turbo S in Polar silver so close!

Just picked my car up from the body shop. Full respray, clear bra on nose/hood/mirrors and the addition of the D1R splitter (also clear-bra'd).
This thread needs more slate grey.
Coincidentally, last month the only other slate grey coupe I've seen for sale popped up in the town next to me. Same Slate Grey/Classic Grey combo that I have minus the M030 package, and right at the same mileage! What are the chances?
Anyway, fresh from the paint shop!

I have a slate grey - but I'm over the water in Oz. I think I've mentioned this before on here a while ago, and its a tiny point. I LOVE the fact you US folk don't have the side repeaters 'fowling' the lines of the wings - looks good! ENJOY!
