Slate Grey Coupes?
Just picked up my first 968 a few weeks ago, 1994 Slate Grey Metallic M030 Coupe with Classic Grey (classically, now at least 4 different shades of grey) interior.
From all of the looking I've been doing on the various 968 forums for the last 3-4 years in anticipation of purchase, I've only seen a handful of shots of Slate Grey, mostly stock.
Anyone have shots of one with a Turbo S wing on it? I'm having a hard time picturing it.
Any other Slate Grey owners on here?

Hey, congrats on the purchase and welcome to Rennlist!
Slate's not a very common color, I don't know if anyone here has one. I have a couple pics on my computer but none with the tS wing on it. It would probably look cool!

TheBlau, congrats on your purchase. I have some interesting news for you. I run the 968 registry (by the way, join the PCA 968 register) and have a complete database of all the North American 968s. You know the M030 968 coupes are rare. Of all the M030 coupes, 4 of them were 1 of 1 when it comes to exterior color. Your car is one of them! It was the ONLY NA M030 coupe produced in Q9 slate gray. There were 54 slate gray coupes produced in total. Good luck with the car!!!

Haha. I heard you were planning to turn it into a dedicated track car?
It's great so far. Has a few little things to fix still. I had to get the rear hatch glass resealed and the balance shaft seals replaced as soon as I bought it. Also took it to paintless dent repair and had about 20 dents taken out from all panels of the car.
One thing that's a mystery...it's an M030 and 220 car, but during the PPI the mechanic spun the rear wheels while it was on the lift and they rotated opposite....no LSD on the car anymore. Previous owner bought it from his father-in-law and said "I think he had some transmission work done back in the late 90's" so maybe that's when it disappeared? Have most of the service records for it but no mention of trans service.
Engine runs really strong, all belts and engine seals done within the last 5k miles...and the M030 ride and handling...mmm.
I'll take some pictures this weekend. Didn't want to take them before all the dents were out.

I might be wrong here, but i think that test only works on early types of LSD and not the torsen style...
Welcome and thats one of my favorite color 968s!

I had been actively looking for a car for the last few months and was settled on getting a coupe with Cashmere interior, but when this car showed up, the M030 package trumped the interior color.

awesome color.
i have the same issue. on a lift my wheels spin in opposite direction.
but when i lay down the rubber both wheels spin in the positive direction if the road surface is wet.
but, not so sure about when it's dry.
