The 968's style and the economy of the time took a real tole on these cars when in the showroom! Then not to mention this color? Its possible that someone purchased it and never titled the car its on MSO or original bill of sale for there collection because with heated seats, and LSD someone payed up front for it? It could have 32 miles on it just sitting in a airplane hanger somewhere with a cover on it!!!
I like the way you think!!!

Three Wheelin'
Or it sat in the showroom for 5 months because buyer backed out and dealership could not sell. So Porsche had a buyer in another country so back on the boat it went?

Great, this means an already-limited pool of 8 coupes has now gone down to 7.
I like signal green a lot too. For me, my favorite color changes on a daily basis but in general it's a tie between Guards Red, Gran Prix White, and Maritime Blue. Horizon Blue is kinda nice too I suppose.

To be honest: I can't believe the numbers are correct, it's the same thing with maritim blue 944 turbo convertibles - one owner told me there are only 3 made, but I already know 3 and cannot believe that's all! As far as I'm informed Porsche did not make statistics for the archive which colors were delivered...

it is still for sale - a transaxle shop in germany build it up again (www.telkamp.de). It's of course not the only one - there's another blood orange turbo and I've seen a convertible in this color for sale in Japan some month ago.

Mexico Blue Cayman and Turquoise Blue Seinfeld cars are also very interesting colors. the Vette is called Jetstream Blue...
did Porsche ever make anything close to Olive Green like in the TVR ?
i would love to create a color about halfway between the TVR and the Tourmaline Green 968....

Thats why I don't always trust in things people say - I saw a picture of two orange turbos standing close together... And I know the person that restored the Springbok one well.

The only known US 997 Carrera in Maritime, color code "38B"
I've owned this car for 16 months now, found it on Autotrader.
Picture taken off the Blue Ridge Parkway, NC
Recently saw a Riv 968 Tip on Autotrader but could not afford to jump on it.
