Horizon Blue 968 coupes!!!!
#32
I have one here that I just picked up! What a nice car to drive these 968's are..
If you want I can provide more pics. It's a coupe, 1993, dark blue leather interior, but it's really hard to spot any blue in it?? More like black? 6 speed manual.

i want to paint my white car either aventurine (which i have no business even attempting to spell) green
or the slightly deeper 997-style, cobalt blue. it can probably be done properly for less than $15~18 K.

boerge, nice looking car! Though, in that pic, it looks more like alpine white. Sure, if you have more pics, let's see 'em! Where are you located? Where did you find the car?
I wonder how many of these there are in Europe...

horizon blue is a very nice color which compliments the 968's curves. very well put together information in the first post!

Damian, my coworker's neighbor happens to be the owner and head tech of the local Porsche indy shop, and drives a polar silver 968. My coworker swears that that 968 and mine are the same color, lol! I guess bluish silver and silverish blue are good ways to put it then!
Hi mazdaverx7, thanks for the compliments!

Thanks very much for the great writeup jeff968.
I happen to own the one you pictured in the first post(same pic form the set the prior owner used to sell the car) . I bought it in fall 2010 and brought it back to the SF Bay Area where it was originally purchased from in 1993. I've kept it all original other than switching out the stock stereo. Also found and added back a set of colored Porsche crest wheel centers it was originally equipped with but lost over time.
Still in awesome shape, and less than 58K miles. Amusingly it lives 5 doors down from a 1993 Horizon Blue 928 GTS.

Thanks Pete and welcome to RL. You have a rare and unique car there. Make sure you get out and enjoy it. Considering joining PCA and while you are at it, the PCA 968 register. You'll find lots of great 968ers here on RL.

Now that this thread has been brought back to life, I read through the entire thing again.
Jeff, your "service" to the 968 community is truly appreciated. Your love of this model is evidenced by your willingness to share your data with the community. Many 968ers have come and gone in the time that I have been around, and most have learned "a thing or two" about their cars and from you. Here to help, No hidden agenda, no BS. Ya gotta love that.
Thanks again.

Nope, thats a Polar Silver 968. They didn't make any HB's in '94. Sad end for a beautiful car regardless of color.
