Just got a report near Los Angeles...968 in green, yellow, and gray...doors one color, hood another color, body another, multicolored stripes...

I saw a yellow 968 w/ yellow rims on I-85 in Durham, NC today. It was headed north-bound, I was headed south. I didn't get the best look at it, so it may have been a 928, but it definitely stood out.

I'm new to 968s, so I'm not disqualifying what you're saying, but it looked more like aftermarket paint and painted rims to match.
Think along the lines of a 70's Monte Carlo that you'd see in a rap video. It looked to be an off-shoot of the paint-matched rim trend. I just REALLY didn't think it worked for the car I saw.
