That's the correct size/combination (I actually run a slightly bigger tire up front).

Like your new color - I'd like it a little better if the mirrors were also gray. The car will look absolutely outstanding this Spring!

his rear tire combo is about 24.7~8" and will produce about a 4 % defect on his speedo, added to some additional defect built in...

this works out to 157~158 mph at the limiter, w/ his speedo reading about 164 mph.

Thanks, but you'll see that with the black wheels, the black mirror will be really nice. I'll post pics when my new rims will be install.

Have you decided on rims yet. I think cups finished in gloss black would look great.

Default Looks Great!

It looks spectacular. I like the tinted lenses really stand out.

What are you doing with your old wheels? I'm interested if they are for sale.

Nice work.

Just about every 951 & 968 racer I know runs either 275/30 or 285/30-18 (or 35) on 10" wide rear wheels. Funny thing about racers is they tend to want their cars to go fast. And, normally aspirated 968's don't attain 164 mph, nor 157 mph for that matter. I haven't seen a 968 exceed 140 on a race track.

Well since you asked, I personally don't like the tinted tail lights too much, and I hate the tinted front lights and black mirrors as much as I love the gray paint! But this is just my taste; I tend to like bright popping colors. However this is the look you're going for and I think it's being executed well, and I'm sure with the black wheels to tie it all together I will like it more, and it will be one of the choicest 968s on US roads!

Yes I did go with the black wheel, I bought those one.
Here in Quebec right now, it's the mayhem for winter tire, so my wheel guy is really booked. He will install my tires in January.
But here is the model I bought.
