Thinking of changing the color of my 968... NOW DONE!
Hi guys, I'm thinking of changing the color of my 968, I have a midnight blue, classic grey interior. I would of like to know if it will devaluate the car if it's not a number matching paint?
And for what color would you go?
thanks

Flat black.
Please do it, I want to see what my car is going to look like!
Worst case scenario, it's really easy to paint over as the surface is rough enough to function as an excellent primer! Plus it's relatively cheap, so you're not out a lot of money

If your current paint is in good condition, then it's resale value will go down with new paint. If your paint is damaged or destroyed then new paint will raise the value (IMHO).
But the bottom line is, will the car be more valuable to YOU with a new color?
You can't ask US what color to make it, you should make it whatever color you like! How about yellow?

I wouldnt go with a crazy color, i would go with a kind of Audi TT aviator grey or something like that. But I'll see, i'm going to see a paint shop next week, I'll decide there...
