Default 968 widebody?

There's plenty of widebody 944 turbo's out there but I can't remember seeing a widebody 968?
(besides the white one off race 968 for sale a couple of years ago and the ocassional GT2 style bolted on wide arches)

Gustaf, here are some pics of a white 968T. It's a sweet car. I have a lot more pics if you want some.

The "factory" look widebody can be done done with the similar Gt2 fender extensions that 993 gt2 uses. gt2 Fender flares are available at least from gt-racing - haven't seem their items in real life though.

I was pondering this same question few years ago. There was one 968 in Japanese race series which was custom built. I'll try to seek a pic from it. . .
And found it. Team who raced the car was called Arktech Motorsport

here's one thread discussing this Arktech's car more in detail on rennlist.

Can't believe this topic has just come up!
I've just ordered a flair kit from Hank, at GT-Racing.
Will be fitting it over the winter.

Nice going, Jason!
I also have been pondering this topic, although won't be actual on my car..
If there were more power (400-450hp), which would require wider tires, then it would be.

pls share some pics when you get 'em installed! for racer it gives nice look!

The strosek-car is the first one I've seen that doesn't have the flared type arches. Not sure how good it looks though..

Visualize it without the goofy hatch, wheels and mirrors. It looks pretty good, IMO, without all the other crap.

I don't like the strosek kit softens the fenders. doesn't look OEM anymore.

I have been trying to get the guy who made the body on my car to make some more. Let me know if there is any interest.
