Take a week off and put Raj in your luggage. I'm sure you would both have great fun driving this awesome car back to NJ.

Shawn. I have that article and the write up was wonderful. The fact that your car made it into that magainze is something you will always remember and cherish. Some food for thought, would it make any sense to approach some of the high-end auction houses and try to get the most oney there? Maybe something like Barrett-Jackson, or something equal to where you are in CA? Anyway best wishes with selling the car.

Yes, there is also RM auctions too. They seem to like cars that have been built up for a purpose (or not), but that could be a nice avenue. Perhaps contact them and see what they think. Hopefully they are unbiased enough to give you an honest opinion.

I went to the Barrett Jackson website and filled out the paperwork, sent them the pictures and title images. So now we wait 2-3 weeks to see if they accept it in there for the Palm Beach April/09 auction!

Barrett Jackson seems to focus on muscle cars (at least that is what we see on TV) and RM seems to have a better selection of european sports and exotic cars. Here is the link: http://www.rmauctions.com/

I have 2 very interested parties right now some real buyers hopefully, also I submitted the Barrett Jackson form already so I will wait to see what happens in the next month or so. Then if I still have the car I will contact RM about there Monterey, CA auction in August because thats only in 6 months which will be here very soon, and I wouldnt have to ship the car I could just drive it there and give it a detail!

Any chance you'd have documentation and/or video of the build-up? I'd love to do this to a 968...someday.

Thank goodness that thing's on the left coast otherwise I'd have a hard time not bringing it home. "But honey, it followed me home, honest".

These cars built right are totally reliable daily drivers and will do the same mileage as 951's do without needing anything major.

Your car is worth every last cent you are asking for it, its beautiful and functional at the same time, good luck with the sale. Damian buy this and sell yours, enough said

Well keep both then . It would be the best of both world's. Dump the 3 series and throw snows on this in the winter months, problem solved.
This would be your daily driver. More smiles per miles .

A 968 turbo daily driver. Well, that's the answer.
