Well, I borrowed a borescope and figured out that the throw out bearing came apart. I am NOT a happy camper. I figure that since I have to do all of the work of clutch job, I'd like to install a 968 bell housing to make future jobs much easier. Is this possible? Does anyone have a spare one? TIA

I know someone who has a 968 bell housing, torque tube etc and should be able to get you just about everything you will need.
PM me if you are interested. Its a nice thing to have. Make it a 3.5-4 hr clutch job.

I should have been more clear...
If I wanted to retain the stock drivetrain of my 951, but use the 968 bell housing, the only other part I would need is the 968 torque tube? I only want the benefit of easy access to the clutch that the 968 bell housing allows.

You were clear. The only way to use the 968 bell housing is to use the dual-mass flywheel and clutch setup. B/c the 968 uses a motronic, there is no way to put in the speed and reference sensors, so you have to use a stand alone. Sorry, it was me who wasn't clear.
