Sooo, Jeff, you're saying that my MY 1994 is really a 1993-1/2"? Sounds about right as I just checked and the build date was "5/93" with Vin ending in RS820148. Porsche must have had trouble selling the 968 and sales lagged behind production in its last years?

That sounds right, Your car was intended to be a 93 but when sales slowed, they held on to it and then reVINed it as a 1994 with option code 718. That first letter represenst the model year of the car, N is 1992, P is 1993, R is 1994, and S is 1995. The second S that goes along with each of them stands for Stuttgart, the factory where the 968s were built.

I've now solved the 718 and L741 for my own car but does anyone know what option code 273 is on a UK car?
