I was at Sears last Sunday and saw these on sale for 50% off. They are an excellent buy for $15.
I would strongly recommend anyone that wreches pick a set. They will help you with a lot of jobs and avoid stripping hex heads (valve cover and so many other places).

The site doesn't show them on sale but if you walk in, they should still be 50% off. If they are not, I can pick a few sets for people and ship them. They were definitely on sale at our local Sears.
For some reason I always tend to lose the 5mm. I am on to my 3rd one! LOL

Most of my tools are Craftsman. And no, they are not of the quality of Snap ons, but I can afford them and when they do break, I take them back for a no questions asked return.
As for those hex bits, I have had a set for 2 or 3 years and none of them are rounded off at all.

Craftsman tools are good quality. They rarely break and of course when they do, replacements are free! All my sockets and socket wrenches are craftsman. My allen sockets are husky though... poorish quality. I might get a set of those craftsmans. Thanks Raj.
Snap-on is fantastic but too expensive. When I need ultra-quality I buy S-K and the like from a local auto tool specialty store.

I got an S-K triple square socket bit to use on CV joint cheesehead bolts and it's nice, but nowhere near the quality of my Hazet socket bits. Those will never round out.

I do you use craftsman for most of my tools, But I bought very high quality allen and triple sqaure sockets.
Also ponied up for snap on torque wrenches.
Sometimes it is best not to save a buck.

No, the craftsman that Raj pointed to are allen, not cheeseheads.

Yeah I have a snap-on torque wrench (bought it just to do the head gasket on the 968). That's the only snap on tool I have though.
Hazet? I'll look them up! My cheeseheads are Stahlwille.

Does anyone have a link to a good/well-priced cheesehead tool? I tried looking for it online to no avail and I want to use the best tools as to not strip the cheesehead bolts...
Thanks

I have had great success using them on plenty of clutch and cam jobs. Very nice set at a good price.
Good luck.
